# Content Overview

> Understand the files and assets you upload to Conversion, including files and media.

Content is everything you upload to Conversion to use across your workspace. There are two types of content, distinguished by whether they are publicly accessible.

## Types of content

### Files

[Files](/product-docs/content/public-files) are assets you upload to Conversion to host at a **publicly accessible** link. Anyone with the link can view them.

### Media

[Media](/product-docs/content/media) are assets that you upload to Conversion for use in your logo or within emails. Unlike files, which are hosted at publicly accessible links, media are **not publicly available**.
