# Creating HubSpot MCP credentials

> Create a HubSpot MCP connector and share its Client ID and Client Secret so Conversion can connect to your HubSpot account.

To connect your HubSpot account to Conversion, you'll create an MCP connector in HubSpot and share its credentials with your Conversion team. The process takes about 5 minutes.

## Step 1: Create an MCP connector

1. In HubSpot's main navigation on the far left, click **More → Development**.
2. In the **Development** sidebar, select **MCP Connectors**.
3. Click **Create MCP connector**.
4. Enter the following details:
   * **Name:** Conversion
   * **Description (optional):** HubSpot integration for Conversion
   * **Redirect URL:** `https://agentapi.conversion.ai/api/v1/mcp/oauth/callback`
   * **Icon (optional):** Upload an icon if you'd like one.
5. Click **Create**.

## Step 2: Copy your credentials

1. On the connector's details page, copy the **Client ID** and **Client Secret**.
2. Share both securely with your Conversion team.
