Disconnect Zoom from Conversion
- In Conversion, open your profile settings and go to the Integrations tab.
- On the Zoom card, open the menu and select Disconnect workspace.
- Click Confirm and disconnect.
Remove the app from your Zoom account
To deauthorize Conversion on the Zoom side:- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace as the Zoom account admin who added the app.
- Click Manage in the top-right corner, then open Added Apps.
- Find the Conversion app in the list.
- Click Remove next to the app and confirm.
What happens when you remove the app
Removing the app on either side stops the integration for your whole workspace:- All syncing stops. Registrations, attendance reports, and webinar metadata are no longer pulled from Zoom, and Zoom events for your account are no longer processed.
- Zoom actions in workflows stop working. An Update Campaign Member node that sets a member to Registered on a Zoom-synced webinar can no longer register the contact on Zoom. Members and workflow runs affected by this will show errors.
- Webinar assets remain, but are frozen. Synced webinars keep their last-synced metadata and member statuses; they just stop receiving updates from Zoom.
- Attendance for in-flight webinars is lost. If a synced webinar ends while the app is removed, its attendance report is not pulled, and members will stay in their pre-webinar statuses.
How your data is removed
- Credentials are deleted when you remove the app from either side. Disconnecting from the Integrations tab in Conversion deletes the stored OAuth tokens and the association between your workspace and your Zoom account, so no further API calls are made and incoming Zoom events for your account are ignored. Removing the app in the Zoom App Marketplace triggers the same cleanup: Zoom invalidates the OAuth tokens issued to Conversion and notifies us, and on receiving that notice Conversion immediately deletes the stored tokens and the Zoom account and user identifiers associated with your account.
- Synced CRM data stays under your control. Data already synced into your workspace — webinar metadata, member statuses, join links, and attendance records on your contacts — is part of your CRM data and is not automatically deleted. You can delete it yourself by removing the webinar assets or contacts, or keep it for reporting.
- Full deletion on request. To have all remaining Zoom-derived data permanently deleted, contact support from your Conversion dashboard and we’ll complete the deletion for you.
