Audiences are segments of your contacts that you can use to target specific groups across emails, workflows, and ads.

Types of audiences

Static audience

Static audiences have a fixed membership. Contacts are added manually, either by selecting them individually or importing a CSV. The audience does not change unless it is manually updated. These are best for one-time use or manually curated lists, like event invitees or hand-picked accounts.

Dynamic audience

Dynamic audiences update automatically as contact data changes. You define a set of filter criteria, and Conversion continuously evaluates which contacts should be added or removed based on the set criteria.
Dynamic audiences can take up to 5 minutes to update membership to match the filter
These are best for ongoing segments, like all contacts at companies with over 200 employees, or contacts who have engaged with an email in the last 45 days.
