Where to find themes
Go to Settings → Themes. Each theme shows as a card with a preview of its current look. Open a card to edit the theme, or use its menu to duplicate it, rename it, set it as the default, or archive it.Editing a theme
The theme editor shows your controls next to a live sample, so you see every change as you make it. You can shape:
Switch to the Preview tab any time to see a full sample email in your theme.
Section palettes
Want a dark call-to-action band or a highlighted offer section? Add a named palette to your theme, like “Dark CTA”. In the email builder, assign it to any section and everything inside switches together: text, links, buttons, and dividers all flip to the palette’s colors. No recoloring block by block.Publishing changes
Your edits save automatically as a draft, and nothing you do in the editor changes any email while you work. When you’re happy with the look, click Publish. Each publish is saved as a version. From the version history you can look back at earlier versions, bring one back into your draft, or discard unpublished changes and return to the current published look.Your emails won’t change unexpectedly
Themes are built so an update never surprises you:- Publishing doesn’t touch existing emails. Everything you’ve already built or sent keeps looking exactly as you designed it.
- You choose when an email updates. When a newer version of its theme is available, the email builder offers the update. Take it and the email restyles in one click.
- Your one-off tweaks are safe. Any styling you set on a specific block always wins over the theme, and it stays put through theme switches and updates.
Default and archived themes
- Set as default decides which theme new emails and templates start from. A theme needs to be published at least once before emails can use it.
- Archive retires a theme you’re done with. Emails already using it keep looking the same, it just can’t be picked for new emails. You can unarchive it any time. The default theme can’t be archived.
