- How much pipeline did marketing influence this quarter, and from which channels?
- Which channels show up most often before a deal closes?
- What share of new opportunities had any marketing touch at all?
Mosaic appears in the sidebar and in Settings only when it’s enabled for your workspace. Ask your Conversion contact to turn it on.
How Mosaic works
Mosaic builds every report from three pieces: goals, touchpoints, and an attribution model.- Goals. Each Salesforce opportunity can reach two goals: it’s created (pipeline) and it’s won (revenue). The opportunity’s Amount is the value Mosaic splits.
- Touchpoints. Mosaic turns tracked activity into touchpoints: website sessions, marketing email clicks, campaign successes (such as attending a webinar), and lead gen form submissions from your ad platforms.
- Channels. Every touchpoint is assigned to a channel, such as Email, Paid Search, or Webinar, and optionally a subchannel, such as Paid Search › Google.
- Eligibility. For each goal, Mosaic collects the touchpoints of the eligible contacts that happened before the goal and inside the attribution window.
- Credit. The attribution model decides how the opportunity’s value is split across those touchpoints. A goal with no eligible touchpoints is unattributed.
