Mosaic has two report tabs: Overview and Channels. Both use the date range and model set in the toolbar. For what each metric means, see Key terms.

Overview tab

The Overview tab summarizes marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue for the selected period. It has four sections: Pipeline, Revenue, Channels, and Top performers. If no opportunity was created or won in the period, the tab shows No opportunities in this period instead. Try a longer range, or check that your opportunities are syncing from Salesforce.

Pipeline and Revenue

Each section has one card with four headline numbers for opportunities created (Pipeline) or opportunities won (Revenue): Under each number, Mosaic shows the change from the comparison period. Hover from to see the previous period’s dates and value. The ring next to Marketing coverage is green at 75% or more, orange from 50% to 74%, and red below 50%. Hover it to see the count, for example “42 of 50 with marketing credit”.
Low marketing coverage usually means touchpoints aren’t reaching your opportunities. Check that the tracking script is installed, that your contacts are linked to the opportunity’s company, and which contacts your eligible contacts setting allows.

Credit by channel

A bar chart of attributed pipeline or revenue per channel, ranked from most to least credit. Use the Pipeline and Revenue toggle to switch goals.
  • Each bar is stacked by subchannel. Hover a bar to see the split.
  • Click a bar, or a channel’s name in the legend, to break that channel down by subchannel. Click Credit by channel in the card title, or All channels in the legend, to go back.
  • The legend lists every channel, including channels with no credit in the period. Click a channel’s swatch to hide or show it.
  • Unattributed is hidden by default. Turn it on in the legend to see the pipeline or revenue that no touchpoint earned. With Unattributed on, the bars add up to the full Pipeline created or Revenue total.
  • The card’s total updates to match the bars you’re showing.
This chart is always dated by the goal: it splits the pipeline created, or revenue won, in the selected period.

Credit by touch date

A stacked bar chart of attributed pipeline or revenue over time, placed on the date of each touchpoint. It shows when the marketing that led to deals happened, which is often weeks or months before the deal itself. See Date basis.
  • Use the Pipeline and Revenue toggle to switch goals.
  • Use the interval menu to choose Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly bars. Auto picks one from the range length: An interval that would draw more than 100 bars isn’t offered.
  • With more than eight channels, the smallest fold into Other. Click Other in the legend to show every channel.
  • Click a channel’s name in the legend to show only that channel, and click it again to show all channels. Click its swatch to hide or show it.
Intervals use UTC calendar periods, and weeks start on Monday.

Top channels

A table of the five channels with the most attributed pipeline or revenue. It has the same columns as the Channels tab.
  • Use the Pipeline and Revenue toggle and the date basis menu to change what the table ranks.
  • Click All channels to open the Channels tab with the same goal and date basis.

Channels tab

The Channels tab is a table of every channel, with its subchannels as expandable rows. Use the controls above the table to change what it shows: Click a column header to sort by it. The Total row at the bottom covers every channel. It’s hidden while you search.
Influenced companies and Influenced opportunities totals count each company or opportunity once, even when several channels touched it. That’s why the total is usually smaller than the sum of the rows. Touchpoints and attributed credit add up across rows.
A channel row splits into subchannels only when it has at least one named subchannel. Touchpoints in the channel that weren’t assigned a subchannel show as Other. If no channel earned credit for the selected goal, the tab offers to switch to the other goal when that one has data.
