Blast emails are one-time emails sent to a specific audience or contact group. Unlike workflow emails, blasts are not tied to a trigger or schedule, you define the audience and send (or schedule) the email manually.
Use blasts for newsletters, product announcements, event invitations, promotional campaigns, customer updates, or any communication that goes out once to a defined list.
Once you send out a blast, you can no longer edit or resend the blast
Blasts view
The blasts view shows all your blast emails with the following columns:
- Name — the name of the blast
- Topic — the marketing topic the blast is categorized under
- Status — the current state of the blast (e.g. draft, scheduled, sent)
- Scheduled for — the date and time the blast is scheduled to send, if applicable
You can customize which columns are visible using the Columns button in the top left.
Creating a blast
To create a new blast, click New blast in the top right.
