Every email is styled by a workspace theme: fonts, colors, and buttons all come from it unless you override them on a block. Spacing is per-email — each block starts with sensible padding you can adjust in its inspector. The Settings panel on the right of the builder (shown when no block is selected) is where you manage the theme for the email you’re editing.

Choosing a theme

The theme picker shows the theme this email currently uses. You can switch to any published theme in your workspace, and the canvas re-themes instantly. Switching themes only changes values the email inherits: any styles you’ve set on individual blocks are kept.

Taking theme updates

An email stays on the exact theme version it was built with, so publishing a new version of a theme never changes existing emails by itself. When a newer version of this email’s theme is available, the picker shows a new version available prompt. Taking the update re-themes the email against the latest published version.

Page settings

A few page-level options are deliberately per-email rather than part of the theme:

Overriding block styles

Every block inherits its themed styles from the theme, and each themed control in a block’s inspector shows whether the value is inherited or overridden. Set a value to deviate for that block only; use the reset control to return it to the theme’s value. Overrides always win and survive theme switches and updates. Padding is different: it’s the block’s own value, set when the block is added, and you edit it like any other layout property. Sections can also use one of the theme’s named section palettes, which recolors every block inside the section together. Pick it in the section’s inspector.
If you find yourself making the same override on every email, that style belongs in the workspace theme instead. Change it once there and publish.
