Email deliverability
Conversion automatically includes a plain text version alongside every HTML email. Inbox providers use the presence of a plain text alternative as a signal of legitimacy. Emails that only contain HTML are more likely to be flagged as spam.Tracking domain
A custom tracking domain wraps the links in your emails for click tracking, rather than using Conversion’s default shared tracking domain. This means tracked links appear under your own domain rather than a generic Conversion URL. Click Set up to add a custom tracking domain, or Verify on a pending domain to open the DNS setup panel. The panel shows the CNAME record that needs to be added to your DNS provider. Once the record is verified, all tracked links in your emails will use your custom domain while still allowing Conversion to measure clicks.Domains
Add and verify domains to send authenticated emails. Verifying a domain authenticates your emails with industry-standard protocols that prove to inbox providers that your emails are coming from you. Each domain shows its current IP pool (shared or dedicated). To add a new domain, click Add domain.Verifying a domain
Click Manage or Verify on a domain to open the DNS setup panel. This shows the DKIM and SPF DNS records (CNAME, MX, and TXT) that need to be added to your DNS or domain hosting provider. The panel shows the verification status of each record.Open your DNS provider
Log in to your domain’s DNS or web hosting provider and navigate to the page where you manage DNS records.
Add the DNS records
Add the CNAME, MX, and TXT records shown in Conversion. Different providers may have different procedures for creating and updating DNS records.
