Contacts also enter Conversion automatically through Salesforce sync, form submissions, and workflow actions.
Creating a contact manually
To create a single contact:- From the Contacts page, click +New contact in the top-right corner.
- The Create contact panel opens with a set of fields to fill in.

Fill in the required fields:
- Email [The primary identifier for the contact]
- Last Name
- Company Name
- Optionally fill in additional fields
Syncing to Salesforce
At the top of the create contact form, there is a Sync contact to Salesforce checkbox. When enabled, the contact is created as a lead in Salesforce (or matched to an existing record based on your sync preferences). When disabled, the contact exists only in Conversion.Managing available fields
Click the Manage fields link at the top of the create contact panel to navigate to your workspace’s field settings, where you can configure which fields are available, required when creating contacts, and it’s sync setting with Salesforce.Importing contacts from a CSV
To import contacts in bulk:- From the Contacts page, click Import from CSV in the top-right corner.
- Select a CSV file from your computer.
- Map the columns from your CSV to fields in Conversion. For each column in your CSV, you can:
- Map it to a contact or company field in Conversion by selecting the matching field
- Ignore it to skip that column entirely and not import its data.
