Behavior
- The node executes once per contact as they pass through.
- The contact’s owner is updated before the contact advances to the next node.
- If the contact already has the selected owner, no change is made.
Use cases
- Lead assignment — assign a sales rep to qualified leads after they pass through a scoring or enrichment workflow
- Account routing — assign contacts to account managers based on region or plan type after a Field Branch
- Handoff workflows — reassign ownership when a contact transitions between lifecycle stages (e.g., from SDR to AE)
